Council Meetings

Take place at 7 pm on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month, unless Monday is a holiday. Meetings are held at the Community Auditorium, 1915 Main Street, Forest Grove, OR 97116. Meeting agendas are generally published by 5 pm on the Wednesday before each meeting.

Accommodations

The City is committed to providing equal access to public meetings. Requests for accommodation can be sent to the City Recorder’s Office at least 48 hours before the meeting at: mwoods@forestgrove-or.gov or 503-992-3235.

Public Meeting Law (PML) Grievances

Forest Grove’s meeting bodies, including the City Council and all boards and committees, are subject to Oregon’s Public Meetings Law (PML). Violations of the PML should be reported through the grievance process outlined by state law and the Oregon Government Ethics Commission (OGEC). To report a violation of the PML by a Forest Grove meeting body, submit a written grievance statement to the Office of the City Recorder by email to mwoods@forestgrove-or.gov or in-person at City Hall (1924 Council St, Forest Grove). Once received the city will initiate the process as outlined by the OGEC at the link above.
