Community
Living in our city offers a unique blend of accessibility to a vibrant metropolitan city, without the pressures of big-city living. The slower pace, quality schools, low crime, historic downtown, and abundant sporting and cultural organizations provide a sense of community.
Our community exemplifies civic responsibility which is reflected positively in our events, streetscapes, and overall beauty. This is a testament to the dedication and commitment of our residents who call Forest Grove home. Since the earliest days of our settlement, we have valued and preserved our trees and greenery, which earned us the Tree City USA distinction for twenty consecutive years. Discover the charm and surrounding scenic beauty of our city, where the best of urban amenities meet the warmth of a close-knit community.
Downtown Portland provides a wide array of nightlife, a busy cultural calendar, and major sporting events and is just thirty minutes away via excellent state highways.
