9 am to Noon
Community Auditorium
1915 Main Street, Forest Grove

The Committee for Community Involvement, in consultation with the City, decided to postpone the Annual Town Meeting, originally scheduled for January 25, until later this spring. The focus of this year's meeting is to discuss the proposed new police facility. The decision follows a January 13th City Council meeting where a consensus was reached to consider placing the police facility on the November ballot and not the upcoming May ballot. Noting Chief Schutz's recent retirement, it also recognizes that public input about the police facility should occur when an interim and/or new police chief is able to speak to the facility.

This year's topic is the Proposed Police Facility:

  • See concept plans and drawings
  • Hear cost estimates for construction
  • Learn how a new police facility will enhance services provided by the police department
  • Ask questions and provide feedback

The presentation will be followed by a Question and Answer session on general City topics with City representatives. Come enjoy coffee and breakfast with your neighbors, City Council members and City administrators. Doors open at 8:30 am. Presented by Committee for Community Involvement.
