Some of the highlights that have shaped our city this past year:

Time, Place, and Manner Ordinance:  This year has been marked by significant achievements across various fronts, showcasing a blend of progress and community-driven initiatives that have directly impacted our community.  

Elm Street Property Community Engagement Efforts:  Ongoing efforts to rehabilitate the Elm Street property have thrived due to your engagement and valuable input.  Your voices continue to shape the landscape of this community and the commitment to ensure improvements align with our collective vision.

Washington County Partnership on Homeless Encampment Cleanup:  This partnership underscores the commitment to compassionate solutions and community well-being.  

Opioid Center for Addictions and Treatment (CATT):  The inauguration of the Opioid Center for Addictions and Treatment signifies a pivotal step in combating substance abuse within our city.  This vital resource provides support to individuals and families affected by addiction.  

Joint Transportation Projects:  Advancements in transportation infrastructure projects, such as the Martin Road/Hwy 47 Roundabout and the Thatcher Road/Gales Creek Highway Intersection have enhanced connectivity and accessibility, fostering greater convenience for residents.   

Addition of Stites Nature Park:  The opening of Stites Nature Park offers an enriching outdoor experience, providing a haven for recreation, a community garden, and a place to gather in appreciation of our natural surroundings.  

Completion of City Hall Remodel and DSA Building:  The City Hall remodel and the DSA building renovations not only modernize our civic infrastructure but also enhance efficiency in serving our community.  

City Website Launch and Online Accessibility:  Our new website signifies our commitment to digital accessibility and transparency, making it easier for the community to access information and engage with city services online.  

Introduction of the Mobile Library Van:  The mobile library van brings the joys of reading and learning directly to our neighborhoods and fosters a culture of literacy and connectivity.  

Summer Recreation Programs:   Our diverse range of summer recreation programs offers engaging activities for all ages, ensuring vibrant and inclusive community experiences. Our Fun for All Fund will financially assist qualified families to keep Forest Grove playing!

Livability Survey:   The recent livability survey garnered valuable feedback from residents, guiding our efforts to further enhance the quality of life in our city.  

E-bike Rebate Program:   Incentivizing sustainable transportation choices, our E-bike rebate program promotes eco-friendly transportation while reducing carbon emissions.
