Forest Grove Fire & Rescue is a combination fire department proudly serving both the City of Forest Grove, and the Forest Grove Rural Fire Protection District.  From two fire stations, we provide first class fire, emergency medical, and rescue response to an approximately 85 square miles, with close to 35,000 residents in our service area.  Our Forest Grove Fire Station responds to first due calls in the City of Forest Grove, as well as across the unincorporated rural communities of Dilley, Verboort, Roy, Greenville, Watts, Gales Creek, Glenwood, and Fernwood.  Nestled in the foothills of the Oregon Coast Range Mountains, our all-volunteer Gales Creek Fire Station protects the western end of Washington County, with responses into the beautiful Tillamook State Forest.  Forest Grove Fire & Rescue is comprised of eighteen line firefighters, with six each assigned to a traditional A-B-C shift schedule, they are supported by approximately fifty volunteers.  On our administrative side, a Fire Chief, two Division Chiefs, a Deputy Fire Marshal, a Logistics Technician, and an Administrative Assistant are responsible for the day to day efforts of the fire department.
