Forest Grove Rural Fire Protection District

The Forest Grove Rural Fire Protection District  surrounds the City of Forest Grove, and makes up the majority of our 85 square mile service area. Dating back to the 1940s, the City of Forest Grove has provided fire protection services to rural residents through a contract with the Forest Grove Rural Fire Protection District. All rural residents receive first response fire and medical services from the downtown Forest Grove Fire Station, while an all-volunteer fire station in the beautiful farming and forestry community of Gales Creek adds to calls when volunteers are available there.
